Engineering Information

RRS products are fully engineered and tested to exceed in both loading and performance the OEM products they replace.

In 2018-19 new G-force testing was added to the Australian VSB14 (a live document), making the supply of after-market axles and bearing hubs to Australia the most highly scrutinized jurisdiction anywhere. RRS has added to its comprehensive test data new multi-dimensional G-force impact simulations (all conducted by an independent certified finite element analysis company, Cadtek). The simulations prove RRS exceeds these new standards.

RRS has 280 pages of real world and computer simulation data available to engineers, certifiers to pass RRS products as compliant in Australian (VSB14 and ADR's) or internationally.

  • In Australia, after-market compliance is governed by the VSB14 guidelines and state rules for vehicle registration rules.
  • In New Zealand, a body called the Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association (LVVTA) and the TAC control vehicle roadworthy and compliance.
  • In the United States, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has authority over national road compliance.
  • In Europe, roadworthy certification varies, in Germany, for example, has the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building, and Urban Affairs, which then delegates to bodies the TÜV, the DEKRA, and the GTÜ to individual vehicle roadworthy.

RRS has worked all of these governing bodies and the relevant bodies in Canadian, South Africa, Finland, the UK, and Malaysia to get RRS customer's car street legal for more than 20 years.

This is an example of the test data this page is from the 158 page coil over data

RRS can supply signatories, engineers, and certifiers load and FEA data allowing vehicles fitted with RRS products to be certified street legal, simply send an email to technical@rrs-online.com.

RRS will ask you to sign a NDA (non-disclosure agreement), then RRS will forward the relevant analysis.
